Hey everyone!
I’m back again, and can’t believe it’s nearly March! This month has flown by - and I’ve got something exciting things coming up! Firstly though, do any other authors struggle with February? I knew it would be a tough month for page reads, but GODS I was not prepared for how tough. If you’ve been reading my book this month, just know I already love you and wish you a very very happy life.
So what’s been happening?
Book 2 of The Azarian Saga
I’m in the absolute THICK of edits for Book 2 of the Azarian Saga. My lovely editor handed back my developmental feedback mid Feb, and since then I’ve pulling late night shifts after my full-time job to work through the edits. This baby is already sitting at 157k words, and I have about 20 chapters left go! You know we lovely a chunky book.
Just for me to then DO IT ALL AGAIN - yes I hate myself. I want to go over developmental edits at least twice before even considering the copy edit. Writing the second book in a series feels so much harder. It’s more intricate, trying to keep all the individual plot lines flowing, remembering all the nuances from before, whilst propelling yourself to the next book. But I love this one so much more! I really can’t wait for it to be out in the world, and as my subscribers, I have a couple teasers for you!

My first ever author event is coming up! I’ll be at Lit and Light Book Signing on the 7th March. This is at the Seven Dials Club in Covent Garden, London. I’m on table 20, and will have signed paperbacks of Daughter of the Dark Sea with me. You can also get your hands on some character art, bookmarks and free sticker bundles!
If any of you are following my socials, you would've seen the roller banner debacle! Short story - myself and a family community organisation in South Wales received each others banners! We're currently trying to swap them around, but it was rather funny.
Event planning has been a crazy learning curve for me, and I’m both excited and nervous for my first event. I’m so thrilled to say that I’ve made enough pre-orders for my first ever event, and I’m so so happy that people are taking a chance on my little debut baby 💙
My pre-orders for this event close TOMORROW! So get in while you can, as I’ll be taking a limited amount of stock to Lit & Light.

Straight after Lit & Light, I’ll be preparing for Fiction Fest! Here are my upcoming events for 2026:

Passion for reading . . . sort of?
So, I know in my last newsletter I was raving about my re-ignited passion for reading. I had read so much, I had bookish hopefuls, I thought I was on top of the world. Well, yeah. It’s taken a turn - but in fairness, I really struggle to read when I’m either writing or editing. My brain can't entertain both, and I always worry about being influenced by what I'm reading, and it bleeding into my own work.
Despite that, I still managed to read two books this month, and currently on my third that I imagine I will finish within the week! As you can see, I’ve had a bit of an Elle Reid month, getting lost in some delicious vampire romance. Following the supernatural theme, I'm now enjoying the third instalment of The Cursed Queen series by Meg Humble.

I've finally organised myself to have an author newsletter swap, and this month the lovely Jeannin Counts is my spotlight! Be prepared some very steamy and NSFW character art below🖤

Until next time, dear reader.
Don’t let the world conquer you. 💙
