The countdown is on! It’s officially 2 months until Prince of the Phantom Sky releases and there’s SO MUCH HAPPENING. I have a really jam-packed newsletter this month, so time to dive right in 👀

We’re now in the proofing stage, and I’ll be hopefully getting my hands on my very first copy of POTPS within the next two weeks!! I honestly can’t believe I’m nearing the end of the journey and that my second book will be here soon.

I attended Bad Girl Books this month, and had the best time! I also got to sign with one of my author besties - Patricia Prior. I was swept off my feet with talking to so many lovely people, and I managed to sell all my copies - including some to Starlin at Bad Girl Books. Which means my book is now stocked in her store!

I only have two more signings for 2026! Next month, I’ll be down in Bournemouth at the Mysterious Bookcase for a couple hours. I’ll be bringing limited stock of Daughter of the Dark Sea and some goodies. After that, I’m in London at Literary Escape Festival in October - where I’ll have BOTH Daughter of the Dark Sea and Prince of the Phantom Sky with me!

GUYS. I did it again. I applied for more events and it’s like an addiction. 2027 is looking crazy next year, and I’m giving you all a sneak peek to where I’ll be. I’ve not been announced at some of these events, so make sure to keep it between us 💙

Now that I’m happy with the printing, I’ve started looking at launching a pre-order campaign for a limited time sale for the first copies! Again, this will have to be UK only, as my distributor is based here, and shipping this book overseas will cost a lot!

As you know, I’ve been working on an urban shifter romantasy that I’m currently referring to as ‘Project Luna’. I nearly tore it up this past month, and ended up changing everything I had wrote from present to past tense because my brain couldn’t settle!

But - thankfully - I’ve done about 25-30% of the book, and it’s been sent out to alpha readers to give me some thoughts for direction! I’ve never had alpha readers before, and it’s somewhat scary sharing something this unpolished and an early draft. I dread to think how many typos there are in the manuscript.

I’ve also FINALLY decided what I want this series to look like, and going for a series of interconnected couples - but not standalones. I don’t even know how you would phrase this, but you will need to read it in release order, but each book is a different main character and love interest. So far I’ve devised three titles, and I’m SO excited! ☀️🌙

I may or may not have also commissioned art for the first book already and it’s landed in my inbox as I’m writing this . . . but, for now, here’s a mood board to give you a vibe 💛
