Hello there!

I love that in my last newsletter, I started it off by saying it was hot… now it’s just laughable because I’m basically sweating from every pore possible and feel like I’m permanently in Satan’s butt crack.

There is SOOO much going on right now I can barely keep my head on straight. Writing has taken a long pause whilst I work through a lot of things. What things you ask? Well, let me tell you!

My second book baby has been with the lovely Meg at Humble Author Services to work her magic and format it into an e-book and paperback with some stunning chapter headers. It’ll be back with me soon, only for it to go back to my editor for its final proof read!

I’ve set myself some pre-order goals this year to top DOTDS, and so far we’re at 9! I’m so grateful for this many pre-orders with still just over 3 months to go 💙 I also now have signed Prince of the Phantom Sky paperbacks and merch pre-orders live on my storefront, so please do check it out! My addiction to applying to events has gone wild and someone needs to tell me to stop - seriously. Despite this, I’ve unfortunately withdrawn from the South Babes Book Bash 2027 event due to conflicting beliefs with one of the organisers.

It’s important to me that any events I attend are a safe space for all authors, vendors and readers. Any propaganda promoting division, discrimination, and refusing aid to those who need it does not align with me and my views on the world.

But let’s move on. Here are my remaining 2026 events - as you can see I snuck into Bad Girl Books Romantasy Festival and secured a spot next month! I’m super excited to sign at Starlin’s new book shop and the videos she’s been posting show it’s going to be STUNNING. If you fancy popping to Oxford on the 25th or 26th July, please come see me 🫶

I have an upcoming Book Tour for Daughter of the Dark Sea and the application form is live! I’m really excited about this to spread the word of my debut, before ARCs open for Prince of the Phantom Sky 🤍 it feels like so much is happening right now, and this is one of the many things me and my lovely PA have been working on.

What a shocker - I have ANOTHER character art reveal. Honestly at this point, it’s like getting a tattoo. Sometimes it’s so hard deciding what scenes to be created through a variety of amazing artists. My editor specifically requested this one, and I couldn’t have agreed more.

This is a beautiful scene from Prince of the Phantom Sky, and without giving too much away, it’s a moment where Kora is starting to feel settled in her magic, her identity, and her purpose.

Next up is L.C. Whitehouse and I’m fan girling slightly that I get to spotlight her because I’ve been obsessed with her socials for a while! Another June published author, L.C.’s book An Ear for Secrets also released yesterday - congrats! ✨
